One year!

One year ago, Sunday, was the day my life changed. I was flying up to Philly to meet a dude... (I was bored and had nothing else to do) A guy sat next to me, and I was done. (I will have to post more to the story later...) One year later, here I am sitting in Phoenix, AZ.

Stop reading now if you don't want to hear mushy stuff!

It was Chad and my first anniversary. For those of you that know me, you know this to be a considerable milestone in a relationship for me! Here is how I know I picked the right guy...

Saturday night, we got to watch MY MOVIE picks. This never happens. So I went for it! It may never happen again, because the choices I made included Pride and Prejudice and Love Actually. Chad is a shoot-them-and-blow-up-everything kind of movie watcher... While I was knee-deep in Kyra Knightley drama, Chad was in the kitchen... What? Yep, he was cooking something and wouldn't let me help... Then he comes out with homemade-from-scratch Flan. Yes, FLAN. The custardy stuff with caramelized sugar. It was amazing!

We woke up on Sunday, and it was MY choice again of what to do. So we loaded up my horse and one of my clients, and took them to the mountains and did 3 hours of trail riding in the White Tank Mountains. Then out for Sushi. All in all, it was an amazing weekend. He gets an A PLUS!

It kinda makes me want to see what is in store for next anniversary, you know?!?! And that is another blog post for another day... I have NO idea where we will be in a year, I just know it will be with him.
